Contracts & Strategy

Many small businesses are hesitant to require contracts, or protective clauses in their contracts with clients, customers, or vendors. As a result, they’re often left with unpaid invoices, and subpar performance, without recourse. Most entrepreneurs don’t have the time to hunt down their clients or vendors for payment. That’s where I come in, advising on a broad range of issues and serving as your on-call general counsel. I believe that every business contract should be drafted in simple terms that all parties understand, and that contracts should say what they mean and mean what they say. This includes:

  • Founding member contracts

  • Lease agreements

  • Vendor agreements

  • Letters of engagement

  • Client contracts

  • Referral agreements

  • Partnership agreements
